I've been having issues with the Sennheiser PC 363D. Recently my audio has been cutting out / resetting. I installed what came on the disc which was a tray icon that allowed me to change the channels (2,4,5.1,7.1). I went to the website and downloaded the driver update which removed the tray icon. This made the problem a little more imaginable.

I have been playing D3 a lot and have been using Mumble to talk to friends. From time to time, the audio will cut out. If I'm watching a Youtube video I will get a error, or if I'm watching Twitch the video would pause and I'd have to refresh. The only way to fix this would be to switch the channels back and forth using the tray icon or unplugging the USB sound card and plugging it back in. With the drivers I downloaded from the site that removed the tray icon, the audio will cut out, go to my desktop speakers for nearly two seconds, then cut back to my headset and it will be fine again.

You should probably try and reinstall your drivers but the one's that came with your headset to begin with. IMHO I think the dev's at Sennheiser removed the tray icon tool menu to avoid any issues but you may have better luck informing their support about the issue you're having.

Speaking of issue, can you please pass on your full systems specs inclusive of OS, audio equipment and peripherals attached? Are you running your headset off an available USB 2.0 port? Are you sure your BIOS and remaining device drivers are up to date? With regards to your headset, it'd be a good idea to disable any and/or all sound cards outside of your USB inline soundcard shipped with the Sennheiser 363D to reduce variables causing this issue. If a built in sound card, you can disable in BIOS and if a dedicated sound card, remove it physically and remove drivers form OS.
