Hello,

I've laptop with i7-2670QM. And recently installed Windows 10 and noticed that my games are not running as smooth as they used to run on Windows 7. Then I tried realising which part of computer the problem is. And I found out that it's not GPU but CPU.

I downloaded monitor for Turbo Boost technology and it never goes above 2.2Ghz. Even when I run something really heavy on it and various benchmarks.

EDIT:
Reinstalled to Win7. Everything works now. Shitty solution but whatever

If someone else cant help who knows more about this problem then me. All I can suggest is contact your manufacturer and tell them. When they ask you what version of windows you have just lie and tell them Win 7 and see what they say. If they offer you a replacement then backup, format and install win 7 before you return it to them. Based on my research it seems to be a bit of a plague for more then yourself.

There is no such option in BIOS version I have. I tried updating it but it says that flashing is not allowed because I don't have battery. Anyway. It was working fine on Win7. By the way my laptop manufacturer doesn't support my laptop with Windows 10 or 8.

Does your laptop manufacturer have an update program you can run? I know DELL PC's have one in order to get updates from them.
