Hello,

I built a PC and my last step is installing OS--Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. After many attempts, I finally turned my USB drive into a bootable device. However, after I click Install Now, I get a message saying "No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok"

I have ASUS Z170-AR. I read that putting into USB 2.0 slot instead 3.0 will help but that didn't work for me. I also read that switching USB ports after clicking cancel button works, but it didn't work for me. Any other solutions? If not, I would have to find a CD and get an external CD/DVD reader and try to install with CD. I appreciate the help. Thank!

Eugene

It worked! However, looks like my student product key for Windows 7 Ultimate doesn't match the one I downloaded. I'm gonna have to get a student edition CD and burn that into ISO.

Still, thank you so much for all your help! Now I can create it easily when I make iso of the new CD!

hello!
Finally I managed to solve, but a bit other way. Btw the issue for me was on desktop.
My problem was that I was not able to put the usb driver to my hdd to be available during the WIN 7 install.
Finally I downloaded the driver to my laptop, got out the HDD and atatched to the desktop.
Then I was able to browse that hdd and find the driver.
However the driver install had 2 steps, and after frist step the USB ports always went down so I lost both the keyboard and mouse. So it was not possible to finish..

Then I found this:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/Faq/3459

This tool simply adds the USB driver into your WIN7 image.

After that everytrhing worked great!
Hope this can help to others as well.

Just create the bootable USB using PowerISO.
Download the Gigabyte Windows Installation Tool from Gigabyte website (https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/Utility)
Run the Gigabyte tool.
Select the flash drive.
Check all boxes or options
Run
Wait.
INSTALL your NEW WINDOWS using your bootable USB.
