need to find out what network driver to use for dead Acer notebook...when I install the replacement HDD I don't know what driver to use. Once I can get it online i'm sure I can find the rest of the device drivers needed.

Stop searching for drivers, search for snappy driver installer - the full version is over 11GB, but well worth it.

At the Acer website, look for your model laptop.
The driver(s) you need will be there.
