Hi Guys,i have following questions :

1. I am thinking about upgrading my pc, my current specs are
MSI R9 270x
fx 6300
ga 78 lmt-s2
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4311#ov

and my budget is around 350-400$

I was thinking about getting a 970 but my mother is pretty old.
so what should I upgrade, I cant spend another penny on it for at least 1 year. i only use it for gaming,my monitor is 900p and i will be playing fallout with a lot of mods :D

2.How much performance can I get out of my fx 6300 If I overclock it and what cooler should I use.

3. and the price difference between newegg, ebay and amazon is huge

hello!, I recently built my brother a fx6300 stock system with an r9 380 and with fallout 4 ultra he plays it pretty well i don't know the exact fps but hes happy with it , if you head to nexus mod manager there are optimization add-ons/mods for the game to help with any issues you might come across with the game, the thing with games is if you were to play total war and other cpu intensive games i would say upgrade the cpu, if you look at other benchmarks in-game on youtube you will see your 6300 with a 270x https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXcaI_FfNRw and then say a i7 4770 cpu , then the performance boost you could see from a graphics card upgrade like a gtx 970 or a r9 390 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1tS_TUVFRY , if I was you...
What games are you currently struggling with?

There is definitely more potential to be tapped from the 6300, but that motherboard is completely incapable of overclocking beyond stock speeds (the VRMs are a 3+1 power phase and will overheat and throttle your overclocked speeds very quickly).

i can currently run Fallout 4 at medium, I want to play at atleast very high, without any gods rays or stuff like that
with no overclocking than,
will I get bottleneck with a 970 or should I get an I5 and keep 270x ???

So I will get 970 for now and upgrade cpu later this year.

also can someone answer my 3rd question why price difference is huge in ebay and amazon or amazon is using us $$ instead of AUS $$$ ?
