I ordered for a ram online for my Laptop HP Envy J048tx which is Corsair CMSO8GX3M1C1600C11 . But the seller gave me the wrong model which is Corsair Vengeance CMSX8GX3M1A1600C10 . The model which is sent by the seller is costly compared to the model which i ordered. I want to use this stick with my existing one that is Micron 16KTF1G64HZ-1G6E1 . I Installed them together. No issue happened during Boot. Will it be compatible with my Model correctly ? or should i return that ? As mentioned in the previous thread i don't have much Knowledge about the compatibility.
Update: Also bios shows 1333mhz instead of 1600mhz ,when installing them together.
The previous Discussion was made on the following thread:

Solution
Always install ram in a system, be it a laptop or a desktop, with a matched pair/kit much like you would while wearing/buying a pair of shoes. They are best had in pairs and not just one of the two. I'd suggest that you send the one you received new and also sell your existing ram stick, add some more to the funds and then buy a matched pair.

According to this, this and this site your laptop supports a maximum of 16GB of DDR3L ram rated at 1600MHz designed to operate at 1.35v.
