Hi I'm looking to do a vm, as I seen in Linus tech tips, 2 gaming rigs 1 desktop, but I want to use an amd 9370 4.7ghz processor, it has amd-v (virtualization), but I want to know if it support vt-d so I can pass through Pci devices.
I'm trying to do it on the cheap, with as many cores as I can get.

Thanks, Mike

VT-D is Intel's implementation of visualization just as AMD-V is for well AMD. The answer is yes it does and depending on the visualization software you'll be using it should allow devices to pass through. I used to run VM's using Oracle Box and they have a plugin that allows devices to pass through or be shared between the host\guest OS.
