I get huge frame drops when starting a game

Hey, Bought a new graphic card and a screen that has g-sync. I have my last and new screen connected and everything works fine. But when i enable g-sync on the new screen and start a game. Everything starts lagging. Get sick frame drops. Cant eaven play League of legends. Pls help. I dont know if my graphic card is to weak or something with the CPU or what. I got msi gtx 970 graphic card and i think that should be enough to use a g-sync screen and a bad 60hz screen.

Yes. My new screen is g-sync ready and i enabled g-sync for that one with 144hz and i set my other screen to 60hz and not g-sync. Its not a little laggy when i start a game. i get like 3 fps when the other screen is connected
