[First time building] AMD vs i5

Solution
The i5 is the much better CPU. Paired with a 960 there's isnt going to be a big difference in many games, but when you get a faster gpu the 860k will hold it back. The i5 is likly to last through a couple of gpu upgrqades(depending on how often you upgrade. The V300 is a poor SSD, the Samsung 850 evo is a much better drive and only costs 5 quid more. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e250bam. Good chopice changing the PSU the CX is not reliable, and the G2s are one of the best on the market. But why not go with a skylake build?

Hi since then there has been the 6300 would you still argue that the intel i5 would work better? Sorry for the trouble, new to this, first build don't want to mess up the build
