Hi guys

I have a problem with my motherboard and RAM compatibility, see I have a J&W JW-IG41M-L3 motherboard that supports max 8GB DDR3 1066mhz RAM but the thing is that I am using a 2GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM (Kingstone) and my PC works just fine, so I bought a 4 GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM (Kingstone) thinking that it will work but nothing, my computer won't turn on, it kinnda turns on but it doesn't give a beep sound or picture..
I tried to start my PC with the 4GB only, and then with the 4GB and 2GB as a pair but it starts only with the 2GB..
If my motherboards supports RAM till 1066mhz then how is it that the 2GB DDR3 1333mhz that I'm using my PC works just fine, that I can't understand..

I would really appreciate your help, thank you very much in advance!

The 2GB stepped down, the new 4GB is probably a newer model from Kingston, about all the DRAM made going back to around 2011 is made with high density memory chips which aren't compatible with socket 775 - I'd look to the GSkill NT series of DDR3 value DRAM - they use the older low density chips

well my 2GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM should've been incompatile because of my 800/1066mhz motherboard but it isn't, I don't understand how it worked till now..
If I update the bios, is there a chance that then my motherboard will accept my 4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM??
