High pitched noice from Corsair cx500m 500w

Hey, Im starting to hear som wierd noice from my psu and I dont know why. Can anyone please help me if you can. I have also searched little on internet but cant find a solution. I found only this thing
1. Execute: "regedit"
2 .Locate: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Power \ PowerSettings \ 54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b¬740d00 \ 5d76a2ca-e8c0-402f-a133-215849¬2d58ad
3. Change Attributes from 1 to 0.
4. Then, through the control panel - power - in the settings mode select power management processor. There will be an option disabling idle processor and high pitched noise immediately disappears. But i lost track at step 4.

If I return mine psu, then I will grab a Evga 500w white 80 plus is that better than mine, Corsair cx500m?

Why should I get 650w when I have gtx 750 ti and i5 3350p? It is way more than I need.
And I have search and they say Evga 500w white 80 plus will work just fine for gtx 750 ti non oc.

Well currently I dont have money for better psu but I have seen that CX500m has some issues with high pitched noice that come from the psu and I have seen a solution but I dont really understand those 4 steps from above and they are the fix. I cant find the step 4. But the other way, the Evga verison 500w white 80 plus dont have that issue or any thing else, so what do you recommend?

If i'm you, i would RMA the Corsair CX and i would pick EVGA.

Corsair is a good brand, but CX - RM series are really have bad circuits so can damage whole system, STILL is a good brand, but only 3 series are trusted (AX-HX-RM).

So, i'ts your call.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I will RMA my Corsair CX500m and get EVGA. Do you know any Evga power supply that are little bit better than the EVGA 500w white 80 plus edition? Because I wanna put just little more money on a good psu that is worth it. I know that the EVGA 500w white 80 plus is OK and wont damage my system but if there is a little bit better psu for same amout of money or just little more, I wanna grap that insted.

But is EVGA 500B Bronze 500W better than the EVGA 500W white 80 plus?
