I went to Microcenter to test some of the cherry mx switches ! A lot of people say that the reds are better for gaming and browns are somewhere in between gaming and typing .For me there is not a noticeable difference between the browns and reds ,they almost feel the same.I am looking towards the k70 since I do want a RGB mechanical keyboard .I tried even the razor with the clicky sound .which I love...I do love the sound of the blue switches ! I thought I would hate the sound but omg is music to my ears ! Now the razor I don't like it because it's plasticky !
I want some input from you guys ,since every time I post here I do get some awesome replies !
I do play games like black ops ,the witcher ,smite ,far cry, but I also type .

I got a logitech 710 at best buy for 50 bucks a while back, people say the keys are wiggly but I'm always clicking fast so it is literally impossible to notice, people always find something to rag about nowadays. The logitech gaming software is a great addition to it as well, but go with what felt good to you. I've never been picky, I like everything so maybe I'm not the best person to listen to

The link is to the Unicomp classic USB. It's a model M, originally made for the IBM PC. They are the original mechanical keyboard, and many still consider the best. I don't know if it's the best, I've never used anything but it. The one I'm using is about 10 years old. I expect it will last longer than I can continue to use the PS2 connection. I plan to buy a USB model sometime in the near(5 years) future. They also sell black keyboards. Surfing through their site reveals they have a few other models available as well, all based on the model M.
