Are laptop fans interchangeable?

Solution
what other fans do you have in mind? Like perhaps any brand laptop fan you can get your hands on? I am not sure if any fan will work.

I do have other suggestions though:
1) I would try cleaning the dust from the fan/laptop as that can make the fan noisy
2) Buy a laptop cooler pad (the fan usually kicks in when your laptop reachers a certain temp)
3) Buy a usb cooler for your laptop

I really don't have a clue which model to buy, that's the thing. As far as the fan itself, I think it's more due to the fan being misaligned than anything else. It happened after my laptop got bumped quite nastily, and when I tap the laptop in a certain spot, the noise goes away for a bit, only to return after a few minutes.
