My Blu Ray drive kept freezing up when playing movies. My actual Blu-Ray player (standalone) wasn't recognizing discs so I read online to clean the lens. I did that and it was working. I thought it would be a good idea to clean the one on my computer.
I opened the drive and didn't know what I was doing so I removed the piece that holds the disc in place. It had the rubberized circle and was magnetized to some degree. Once I figured out how to open the drive I did and cleaned the lens. I put the rubberized circle back on and put the drive back together. Now it says "insert disc into drive F" every time I put a disc in. It takes a while for windows explorer to load to get to that point. I don't even hear the disc spinning after I put it in.
I have taken it back apart a few times and made sure everything was in the correct spot. I also uninstalled the driver for the disc drive. Anyone have any idea's on what I can do to fix this?
Thanks
