Trying to have ssd for boot drive and hard drive for sotrage. Already had all my games and windows 8 on my hard drive. Put in the ssd unplugged hard drive installed windows 8. Put hard drive back in set boot to ssd first hard drive second. It loads windows 8 but I can't access any games from my hard drive without it trying to copy to the ssd. If I boot from hard drive everything is as was it was before. Both recognize the other in local discs. I don't know what to do to boot from the ssd but then load games from the hd. Please help.

Solution
Open Steam. Go to settings. Go to Downloads tab. Click on Steam Library Folders. Click on Add Library Folder. Browse to where the "Steam" folder is and select it as a library folder.
After you do that, go and "Install" each game and select the HDD option and it should detect the game and be able to run from the existing HDD steam folder.
