Dell XPS 8900: What Graphics Cards are good for it?

Solution
That case has a weird HDD mounting system that can get in the way of large graphics cards. If you don't mount an HDD in that one slot you should be able to fit most graphics cards. I'd say that a GTX 980, 980 Ti, R9 290, and R9 290x are all too large. A AMD Fury, Fury X, or Fury X Nano are all sure to fit thanks to their compact size. Less expensive card that will fit are a 970 or R9 380.

Yeah both are good cards but it's hard to justify the price of the smaller GTX 970. Considering that one of the Major advantages of the 970 is it's overclocking, that which is hampered by the mini form factor, it just doesn't make much sense given the price.
