Hey guys! My boyfriend and I play PC games together and we both just recently got upgrades. Valentines day is around the corner and I was wondering what everyone thought an awesome cool gift would be for him? I have his specs and build and I will put it down below...It may be odd to come to a forum to ask but what better way to find a good PC gift and improve his build as a gift. ANY idea's are helpful! Thank you!

He has..

- i74790k
- msi z97 pc mate
- two sticks of ddr 3 ram 8gb
- ge force gtx 760
- thermal take tr2 600 watt psu
- cryorig h7 coller
-cooler master elite 431

He just recently got his i7 processor and mobo for christmas, he has been saying he may need a new Windows OS? does he? is that a good gift idea?

ANY great PC gift ideas I am happy to hear.

Thanks guys!

A new GPU will give the best performance boost. As mentioned, a 960/R9 380 would be a good choice. Also, a pair of nice headphones is a great gift too. Sennheiser's HD 558 are great for the money, or a bit cheaper, the 518's are good. Don't get a 'Gaming headset' as they're often of bad quality both soundwise and buildquality-wise.

Depends on your budget (Win 7 answer given in your other thread). Nice PC, but the GPU is a bit behind the times. Something like a GTX960 would be a nice gift and improvement (but more expensive than Win 7, for example). A nice keyboard/mouse would be appreciated by many gamers as well.

A good gift is always the best if the other person wants it. Personally I would go with that but it wont make any changes to the performance :) If you want to buy him a new graphics card I would suggest a R9 380 2/4GB . The ones from MSI are quite good and much better than the GTX 960s.
