A piece fell out of my Asus Z87-A motherboard - what is it?

A few days ago I noticed a rattling sound when I was moving my PC, and looked inside to find that a piece had fallen out, which based on the color I can only assume came from the Asus Z87-A motherboard I have installed. Everything is still functional when I turn on the PC, and I can't easily find a place where it looks like a piece fell out, but I was wondering if anyone could identify where the piece came from and what (if anything) should be done about it.

Any help is much appreciated!

[strike]Looks like a RAM clip to hold RAM in the slot. Check to make sure your motherboard has them all.[/strike]

I take it back. Looking at an image of your motherboard, it appears to be a restraining clip for the back end of your graphics card expansion slot.

Thanks, I recall checking and not finding any of the RAM clips missing, but I will look again when I get back home!

I see, I'll check it out I get back home. Presumably I shouldn't attempt to reinstall it?

Many thanks
