This is my first build I don't really have a budget, but i do want to know how good this build is and what i could possibly change to improve upon it. I just want to make sure im getting the best bang for my buck.
Anyone know of any other bad ass cases that arent as big? Just wandering I like the case, but it is pretty huge. I have all other missing parts such as 1 TB HDD, fans, and etc.

Unless you are streaming or doing content editing on that rig I would skip the 5820k. It rips through benchmarks, thats about it. Gaming wise the 6700k in most cases is a better choice for FPS gains. you can see a comparison here, see if it is reasonable for you to grab the 5820k: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFNhlq2b518

Regarding the gpu, if you decide not to wait for pascal you are basically skipping on full DX12 support, the 980tis have only DX12.1 capabilities. Not sure if you wanna do that when pascal presumably hits in 3-4 months. If you decide to stick with maxwell then the gigabyte 980ti extreme probably is your best bet, it is the fastest 980ti on the market.

Well, most of your parts are just high end, so nothing to say there. The only thing I could probably change is the PSU, as I dont know how good is the supernova NEX, but you can get a 750W (just in case you need to go SLI in the future) Supernova G2 or P2, which are a bit more expensive but comes with 10 year warranty and are high quality PSUs (tier1).
