Hey guys,
I wanted to add a few more fans to my rig but i simply dont have the connections available on my mobo.

To remedy this i have bought a splitter, it is a molex connection with four 3 pin connections coming from it, two at 12V, one at 7V and one at 5V.

My question is, will there be any issue with having the different voltages running from the molex, like is this cable designed that i only use one and have a choice or to use all the fans at different voltages?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
You'll have no problems here. Just plug em up. The different voltages will determine the speeds at which your fans spin. The areas you want cooled most efficiently hook up to the 12V connectors

Sort of a collection of fans ive accumulated over the years,
Couple of CRYORIG XT140's
a few Nanoxia Deep Silence's
The stock fans that come on a Corsair 300 Carbide.

Messing about with fans is something relatively new to me, all previous cases have had built-in fan controllers except for this one, any help is very much appreciated
