My laptop is ok , and still working good. but while I'm on it , doing something, I hear discrete click sound that's coming and going sometimes , So Does this point to something? Or it's normal?

Solution
Clicks are generally not normal. It could be from a clogged cooling fan. You can address that with blowing out the vents with some compressed air from a can.

You should look at the SMART Data from the hard drive, and that will tell you the general health of the storage. Crystal Disk Info is a program that can do this, and there are others as well.

Most of the time clicking sounds in hdds are a bad sign. It could mean that the HDD is going to die or that parts of it are already dead. I would start to backup the data. Sometimes a HDD still works for quite some time after it starts clicking, but it could die any minute.

I really reccomend backup before diagnosis since you cannot slow down the rate at which a hard drive dies but you can always diagnose later after your data has been saved so usb external hdds anything just get copying one i hear constant clicks after a long session of work my hard drive was dieing then i wanted to cry i had work to do due in the next 3 hours i finished it and submitted it then took out my hdd plugged it into my pc and began copying everything onto my other hdd some sections it was really clicking and i was frightened i would loose my data i did everything had all the fans i had spare plugged into my psu and was cooling the hdd and keeping it slightly warm when needed damn i was a freaking harddrive wisperer ahahah i felt its pain lol after my data was copied i removed my extra fans said my good byes and it clicked and and the clicks got louder i was in shock at a point exactly two minutes after i turned off my extra fans the clicks stopped getting louder and they were at a constant pace i looked up at my screen and BSOD the hard drive had died i rebooted and no boot device was detected RIP
