I have an MSI GT70 Dominator with 1 x 8GB stick of ram (SK Hynix 8GB 2Rx8 PC3L-12800S-11-13-F3). I am trying to add a second 8GB stick (Corsair CMSX8GX3M1A1600C10). Does it matter what slot I put the second stick into (there are four slots, currently three available), and do I need to change any bios settings, etc.? Thanks in advance!

Your motherboard should have a manual that tells you where to put it. Usually the best is a2 and b2. But depends on mobo. Also those are two different brands of memory so they might not work
