problem with the hdmi-port and videocard

hello, the hdmi port in the mobo does not seme to work and when i put in the video card the screen is just black even when i start in safe mode(i tried to use the hdmi-port in the vido card as well but it did not work)

It sounds like the right drivers are not installed. Try updating the video drivers for your motherboard and card and see what happens. If it turns out that doesn't work, maybe the display isn't being routed properly.

i downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia and gigabyte (it is a new pc) right now i am reseting cmos battery, then i will start the pc without graphic card and try the auto button on the screen to see if it will recognise the hdmi port beacuse i can use the hdmi port on the screen if i use it as an extra screen for my laptop
