Custom Sleeving PSU Cables

Hello everyone!

I am looking to enhance the look of my new build by doing custom sleeving of my PSU cables. It seems to be a lot cheaper to do your own instead of buying a custom set. I'm good to do the work, but I hit a snag when I looked up the PSU I was going to purchase and saw that the cables have capacitors on them. I understand what Corsair has them in place for, but I read countless posts on how its a headache to sleeve cables that have capacitors.

So my question is this: does anyone know what PSUs in the 850w range don't have capacitors on the cables? Or if I build new cables that they will work since they don't have capacitors on them? I was looking at the Corsair RM850i, but have now switched to the EVGA SuperNova G2 850w. The only cable that I'm concerned about with the G2 is the ATX cable - all the others look like standard cables with no capacitors. I just don't want to invest the money in buying the parts to custom sleeve new wires if they won't work.

Any help with this would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Solution
You can check out the Phanteks Enthoo Pro, it has a PSU shroud, and will hide the cables from the unit.
That way you can go with the more simple option of sleeved extensions.

Yeah, I also saw where people were removing the capacitors, but I definitely wouldn't want to do that (or wouldn't feel comfortable doing it anyways.) Since my computer will be on my desk, I want to be able to see all of the components, thus all the trouble that I'm going through to make it look as nice as possible. I was wanting to use the Corsair Obsidian 450D case, but my fear is that since the PSU isn't in its own hidden compartment that all of those cables will just be bleh in the floor of the case. I guess I could use the NZXT H440, but I'd like to have some more options because while I know the build quality of NZXT is amazing, I feel as though the Corsair case I want to use has a more sleek appearance, which is why I chose it in the first place.

Edit: Well, other than the Black/Black windowed option. It looks pretty good. It just has a plastic-y look, vs the brushed look of the Corsair. I know I'm being picky, but when spending this much money, I want to have no regrets.

Here is someone in a similar situation. Maybe they have progressed since their original post:

You might keep an eye out here for some discount cables (I have no experience with sleeving or this store): http://www.icemodz.eu/store/#!/Discount-cables/c/14257003/inview=product54020040&offset=0&sort=normal
