Just ordered the MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC (base clock - 1102 MHz). I've been pretty confused about the PSU among the ones mentioned above since I have a tight budget.
Currently I'm running an i5-2320 with minimal specs for the rest (2 TB Barracuda, 8 GB RAM, Mobo - Gigabyte B75M-D3H). So, the rest of the system isn't power hungry.
Also, is overclocking recommended on these two PSUs? Would the additional +12V rail on the Antec VP500P or VP650P serve as an advantage? Though, scope of overclocking isn't really a necessity.
