cant find 20 gb missing memory in ssd!

hi guys i was cleaning up space on my ssd and there is about 20 gb of memory i cant find in my ssd files please help thanks 151 free space of 224 but i could only find 46 gb in the ssd files.im missing about 20 where are they?

Hard Drives and ssds always have less space than they are rated for. my 2tb ssd, has 1910 gbs free space

WinDirStat can help with this.

Also, temp files, System Restore points, hibernation, pagefile, hidden files..

This is almost certainly not a real problem.

Just like your PC needs space for it's operating system, your drives and ssd need the same kinda thing

You have a ~500GB drive, divided into two partitions, C & F.
C partition (OS) is 74.7GB
F partition is 411.5GB

What appears to be 'missing'?
What make/model drive is this?
Are you talking about the difference between the listed 486.5GB and what is said on the box? (maybe 500 or 512GB?)

the ssd is 850 evo 250 gb.hdd is 1 tb wb.
Ok so my ssd has 151 gb free space of 224
which means 74 gb is in use out of the 224.
but i could only find 46 gb of the 74 in the c drive including the os and user files and 86 program files is all part of the 64 gb

99.98% sure that 'missing space' (~20GB) is your Restore Points.

Assuming Win 10...
This PC
Right click and select Properties
Click on System Protection
System Protection tab
Click on "Configure"

What does it say?

20GB also sounds about right for a "recovery" partition -- where, instead of having a physical disk to use to recover/reinstall Windows in case something goes wrong.

Not to mention the other things (hibernation files for putting the PC into "sleep" mode, pagefile portions for "virtual" RAM, etc.) that will eat up hidden space on the drive.
