Around one month ago I purchased a second-hand HP Pro 3500 PC from CeX, the specs are:-
CPU - i5 3470
GPU - R7 250
RAM - 8gb (2x4)
MoBo - Generic H61
Power supply - 300W
HDD - Generic 500gb

My question is about upgrade the obviously mediocre 300W to the Corsair CX600M - I'm pretty sure it will work as from what I can tell, my PC has a standard ATX PSU, but I would like for someone to confirm this before I purchase it.

The reason I am upgrading it is because I plan on upgrading my GPU to a GTX1070 when they are released, this is assuming that either gigabyte or ASUS release a mini version of the card that is, if they don't I will upgrade to a GTX970.
I used the GTX980 as a guideline for power consumption and it seems like the 600W could support it, so I just want to know if it is compatible. Thanks.
