Ok, so recently my PC has decided to not work. It will power on the fans, but it will not display, will not POST, and it will not beep indicating a problem. It's not the motherboard. I already sent that in and they said it worked fine. I tested the PSU using a multimeter and all the voltages were normal. I doubt it's the RAM since that'd mean both sticks were dead, but who knows. Currently the CPU cooler is off and when I turn it on for about 3-5 seconds you can feel the CPU warming up (whether that means it's working is beyond me) None of these parts have been used for more than 3 months. The entire system is new. I have a suspicion it's the CPU, since the computer doesn't even get far enough into the boot phase to beep, but I wanted another's opinion. Also, I did overclock my CPU, but I was under the impression that I was within safe voltages and temperatures. It was overclocked to 4.3ghz at 1.428v with a maximum temperature of 54c. I also tested it on Prime95 for 24 hours and it passed with flying colors. I only had the overclock on for about 1-1.5 months before the computer died on me. And at the time of the computer freezing on me and refusing to boot back up after a reset the computer was only surfing the web. It wasn't doing anything intensive. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Here's my PC specs if it helps you.

Who did you get your board checked by? Prime95 also places extreme stress on the system, so 24 hours could possibly have partially damaged it, and the overclock ate away at it. Ill look into it. You may also want to try reinstalling your CMOS battery.

My board was checked by Gigabyte. They used it in multiple different setups and it worked fine for them. And I've already tried removing the CMOS battery.

Already tried that as well. And I tried them in the other ram slots, both separately and together.

What could I have done to have been more careful? (genuinely curious) I made sure my temps were ok and my voltage was well within acceptable range. Past that I can't see what else I could have done.

No, but I've already packed up the CPU so I can send it to AMD and get it tested. The motherboard was without it's cmos battery for the 3 days it took for it to ship to gigabyte, so I'm pretty sure that the motherboard is not the issue.

At this point I'm ok with buying a new one just, I just want to be sure it's the actual problem first. Though I won't stop them if they want to replace it. :)

Not only that, but they actually covered my shipping costs.

CPU was the issue. AMD sent me a brand new 6300 too. Their package arrived 2 days after they received mine. Awesome job by AMD. And it would seem that this knew CPU is more overclockable too.
