I just finished downloading my GPU's drivers, and it said I had to restart my computer to apply them. So I did, and when I started the computer, everything worked perfectly up until after the "Windows is booting up" screen (I'm on windows 7). After that, the computer stopped transmitting to the monitor. I booted into safe mode, and everything was in order, I did a system scan and nothing was wrong, but I cannot boot into the regular mode. Could I get some help?

Get back to safe mode remove your gpu drivers including the integrated graphics if any present. Download again the gpu drrivers. If you have an nvidia card (I doubt I never had a black screen problem) do a custom install and select install as a new drivers cveers . What is your gpu

Edit: Check on your graphic card, there is a switch not to far from the crossfire conector. Make sure that the bios switch I's on position 1( normal) and not in between the or mid. Check as well if there is another physical on/off button around but I doubt it. I read that there were some graphics with literally a switch.

I tried to uninstall but it gives me an error on startup of the installer "Detection Driver Error. Contact AMD for assistance" and then an error when I try to select a driver "An unkown error has occurred. Please exit and restart Install Manager" what do I do?

Well seems like your drivers are corrupted. I like to use iobit uninsTaler for removing unseated programs because even if the program is corrupted it will deep scan the register and remove what ever Is left as trash.

Here is the link:http://www.iobit.com/de/advanceduninstaller.php

Take care once you installing to only select iobit uninsTaler 5 and not advanced system care toolbars or any other trash once you did uninstall any amd trash scans for leftovers, restart your machine on safe mode and install the drivers again. Restart and play \o/ make sure as well on your gpu that the bios switch on normal position is 1

I uninstalled the drivers using ROVO, and the problem persisted. I don't see a switch on my gpu, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? I'm gonna try to reinstall the drivers now.

I looked everywhere for the switch, I guess there isn't one on my GPU

And what do you mean manually search for the drivers? The program giving me that error is the driver installer.
