Hello, as the title states i am not seeing any difference in frames or quality on the screen

I upgraded an Asus radeon R9 270x with 2gb ram with a Geforce gtx 970 turbo with 4gb

according to this list it is 3 slots higher and should be an upgrade http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html?56a7fb5bf0253=reload

I have also never had a Nvidia card the "nvidia geforce experience" says my drivers are up to date maybe the settings in the control panel are of but im not really sure what im doing in there any ideas?

First off... if the games you play are already maxed out from the 270X... then no, you won't really...

Im mostly testing on Blizzard Games such as Heroes of the Storm or Starcraft 2. I have also played the new Star Wars battlefront and same kind of deal over there i have Vsync of on these games so that i can see the frames but they seem to be within 5 frames and sometimes the games even run worse then before

First off... if the games you play are already maxed out from the 270X... then no, you won't really see any difference upgrading to a 970. I experienced that a few years back when I upgraded my incredible 8800GTS-512MB with an HD6850. There was no difference in gameplay whatsoever for me. But when I added another 6850 in Crossfire, then I noticed a difference... and games that had some lag gave me better framerates.
