After building PC, Windows 10 says network access is "Limited." Troubleshooter says there is a driver error.

I recently built a PC using a Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 motherboard with built-in wifi. After installing Windows 10, I made sure I installed the necessary drivers. However, my wifi does not work at all, and only says "limited" when I check my connection. After using Troubleshooter, it stated that there was an error of some kind with the wifi driver. It's obvious that my computer sees the network, and my other computers connect via wifi just fine. What should I do?

All it says is that my Intel Wireless is working properly, but my connection still says limited and I can't access the internet.

It seems to connect fine, but underneath it says "limited," and I can't access the internet.

What about the above and what frequency are you using on the mobo ? G? / 2.4? N ? 5 ghz? AC?

And what does the modem support? What is it?

Did you install the chipset, Rapid storage tech, and Intel Management Engine interface drivers after you installed windows?

Yes, I installed all of the drivers on the included cds. I am using a Ubee DVW3201B, at 2.4 Ghz. Everything seems to check out, but Windows says something is still wrong with the driver for the wifi adapter.

Try changing the channel on the modem.

If there are too many 2.4 connections flying around, you'll get interference

Is the modem dual band? Does it support 2.4 and 5 ghz? I would say the onboard wifi would

If you installed the wifi drivers from cd download them from the site. Uninstall the wifi drivers you installed first

One reason I dont install from the mobo cd, the drivers on it are probably out of date

I just tried changing channels. Didn't do a thing. I'm convinced it's a driver issue, but I'm starting to think that they may be installed incorrectly?
