So they've built me a PC at work which I use for modeling and rendering. They installed an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950, the problem is that I think the graphics are beign processes by the integrated Intel HD 4000. How can I determine if this is true? I ran dxdiag and on display it says Intel HD4000, and when I try to click on NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL this is what I get:
NVIDIA Settings are not available. You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU.
The monitor they gave me is VGA monitor, so it´s not connected to the Geforce Graphic card, can this be the problem? Should I need a HDMI monitor connected directly to the Nvidia graphic card?
I read on a forum that I could disable the integrated graphic card, but when I did this (obviously) t my display stopped working and I had a friend resetting the bios to correct this. I'm actually new to all this computer stuff, but I'm having lots of problems while working on big 3d models.
Thanks!
