Please do not recommend any others, I am deciding between these two. I play my games very twitchy regardless of the game and I simply need to decide between the two. I prefer the Rival 300 grip to the g402 but like the extra buttons. I appreciate your opinions.

In my opinion, a better grip is more important than extra buttons, the two on the side is more than enough buttons for most games out there, but if you feel you need the extra buttons then that may also be a deciding factor. It all depends on which you prioritize, features or feel.
I own the G502 which is basically the newer version of the G402 and I find myself using only the two side buttons 90% of the time.
