Hey i'm wondering if i have 2 computers each with a network wireless interface card and in range of 1 meter with each other, is it possible to make them wireless talk to each other without the help of a router or gateway? I want to do this because say if i don't have a modem and a router sometime of my life and i wish to inter connect 2 devices with wireless cards to each other, is it possible to make them connect using windows wireless vpn wizard or network wizard?
I know it is but dont know how to perform the trick. I may have to have 2 network card in one pc for it to work. Once i had a windows 98 computer with wireless capability and it had an arieal at the back and by using dial up modem build into the pc i was able to contact a 2nd wireless pc running 95 and xp wireless without a router in the middle. Also will network sharing service work under this circumstances?
