Solution
The sound you are hearing can be the spindle motor is worn out on the drive that spins the disk platter.
Or if the drive has suffered any sort of impact or pressure has been faced on the top of the drive enclosure the read and write heads have been pressed on to the disk platter.
Or the actuator arm that the read and write heads of the drive are on is sticking.

In any case if the drive is quiet old it`s a sign of it about to fail in a major way.
Buy a new hard drive and back up all of the Data on the 500GB Segate drive as soon as you can if the data on it is important to you.

Do this quick as possible subhani sk.

It`s the best and only advice to give you before the drive completely fails on you subhani.

Hi there subhani sk,

As you think that your HDD is making these noises, my suggestion would be to back up the data stored on it as soon as possible.
After that you can attach the drive with different SATA and power cables. You can even attach it to another SATA port.

Let me know how this goes,

In case the issue persists, you can test it with some of these: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
