Good morning,

I have recently bought the TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750 because I am forced to use wifi now. As soon as I install the driver provided on the TP-LINK website, my keyboard and mouse freeze. And when I restart my computer it does the same thing at the login screen.

This is my current build:

Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H
Intel i7 4790-k
Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX
Corsair HX850i Power Supply
TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750

The UEFI bios is loaded with optimized defaults. The only setting that is changed, is the CPU Fan speed for the H100i GTX. The only PCI slot available is the PCIe x4.

Thanks,

TP Link has a very good tech support service. I had some trouble installing TP Link's wireless AC Adapter on my computer. It was a glitch in their install procedure, and they helped me with the installation. If you pay careful attention to their English, it is understandable.

What version of Windows 10 are you running? I have a working Archer T8E installed, but windows update is unable to install Windows 10 Insider Preview 11102, because it says:
"This device isn't compatible in Windows 10. Contact the manufacturer for more info.
TP-LINK 802.11ac Network Adapter (TP-LINK)

If you're already running 11102, maybe that's the problem.
