Need help and sugestions on upgrading my computer

Hi there,
Recently my parents got me a low budget pc (under 350€).

CPU - i3-6100
MoBo - Asus H110M-K D3 Intel H110 SK1151
PSU - LCPower Supersilent V1.3 120mm 420w Bulk
RAM - 8GB

After that a friend of mine gave me his old GPU (Radeon HD6870 Powercolor).

Now the problem is: i have a super consuming GPU that i can't use right now and a couple of choices:

a) I buy a new power supply unit and possibly a new motherboard.
b) I found the gtx 750 TI for about 150€

What is your opinion, what other options are there and what should I do! (Considering upgrades in the future like a new CPU)

The CPU performs pretty well, you could use a better graphics card than the 750Ti with no problems. Since the performance of the 6870 and the GTX 750ti is so close, I would upgrade the power supply to a good quality 550 - 600 watt and use the 6870. Then you will be ready to upgrade the video card later to something along the lines of a GTX 960/R9380X or possibly even a Pascal card.
