Good evening all,

I have a 3/4 year old gaming system with the following specs ( I used speccy + light shot : http://prntscr.com/9vkzdg - all system specs , mobo spec = http://prntscr.com/9vkzk6, and graphic card spec = http://prntscr.com/9vkzqi , power supply 700 waatts

And I wish to upgrade the Graphics card(I currently have gtx 550 ti), can you suggest me which one should I pick considering the above specs of my pc ( mobo is mini etc ) and how my gaming performance would improve ? ( other upgrade suggestions are welcome just so I can get more idea on what my budget is gonna be but graphic card is a first.

Thanks all in advance and good evening

Solution
to update the bios use this:

``ASRock Instant Flash is a BIOS flash utility embedded in Flash ROM.
This convenient BIOS update tool allows you to update system BIOS
without entering operating systems first like MS-DOS or Windows
®
. With
this utility, you can press the <F6> key during the POST or the <F2>
key to enter into the BIOS setup menu to access ASRock Instant Flash.
Just launch this tool and save the new BIOS file to your USB flash drive,
floppy disk or hard drive, then you can update your BIOS only in a few
clicks without preparing an additional floppy diskette or other complicated
flash utility. Please be noted that the USB flash drive or hard drive must
use FAT32/16/12 file system.``

I just want to say that the gtx 970 is the best bang for your'e buck right now in my opinion. If you can wait a few months, the new nvidia gpu's come out, it's called pascal. I would wait for that though. I would even wait some time after pascal come's out, so that the prices stabilize. Anyway, it is your'e decision :p
About the cpu temps, you can Take it off, order some thermal paste, like Arctic silver mx-4, arctic silver 5, or noctua nt-h1. Rub the old thermal paste off with Arctic Silver Arcticlean, akasa TIM cleaner or rubbing alcohol. First, take off the cpu-cooler. Then clean off the thermal paste with whatever you bought and Q-tips. Install a little dot of thermal paste, set the cpu cooler on, you are done. You also want to brush of the cpu cooler with a nice soft brush. If you want to go with a decent cpu cooler, Coolermaster hyper212evo or Cryorig H7 are nice coolers. If you want to go extreme that you wont need, go with a Noctua nh-d14 or Noctua nh-d15. If you have tall ram, do not buy the d-15 :)
