I'm going to assemble my own computer for causal gaming. But I'm essentially computer illiterate. Will all these parts work together if I buy them and assemble them? Am I missing anything essential? Thanks so much for your help.

The second link dosent work, but for that price you probably want to look into a console.
Here is the cheapest I would recommend, still missing a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Thanks. But I want a PC just so I can run Half-life 2 on max, CS: Source on max, CS: Go on max - and most important of all, garry's mods on max. Games like those - nothing special, not Crysis 3. 1024x768 res is fine for me. I tried to fix the second link, can you please check it again?

If all these PC parts are compatible, and I'm not missing anything, then likely (99%) I'll be building this rig. I have a windows 7 install disk from prior pcs.

Thanks a lot for your help.

I see. I am really trying to keep the price below 375 USD for everything. I made some changes to the setup you recommended - is this modification of your choice still a stronger gaming computer than the one I linked to in my first post in this thread? Dedicated graphics - but a slightly worse graphics card than the one you suggested:

Thanks a lot again for your help.

You can always pick up a keyboard and mouse for next to nothing at a thrift shop and use your TV for the monitor until you get a proper one.
