im looking to get a second computer for my wife, she does alot of video editing and rendering, and i would use it as my streaming computer to take the workload off of my gaming computer, im trying to spend as little as possible and still get the job done, im fine with a mini ATX, really whatever allows me to stream high quality and wont take days for her to render an edited video

Solution
that does look like a good choice for an inexpensive rendering baseline

Presumably, then, she uses a Sony-friendly format ... she just needs to set up her Platinum/Vegas to maintain that format, bit rate and resolution throughout the import, edit and export process.

Vegas (even Platinum) is setup to 'pass-through' unedited frames --- this speeds things up nicely. Recent Platinum versions have also expanded the video layers you may stack on the timeline (3 or 4 versions ago, it was only 4-5 ---- now it's double/tripe that). Radeon OpenCL GPU acceleration for output and some effects/editing works just dandy.

The Asus Radeon R9 380 should be a Vegas Monster. If she ever wants to dabble in Premiere it will work great, too, and she can double her render speed by adding a second R9 380 (man, the times they are a-changin'). Vegas/Platinum does not utilize multiple video cards --- yet.

Here is a video editing Combo Deal on the cheap for $230
AMD FX-8320
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

The Gigabyte motherboard is discounted because there are new AM3+ motherboards rolling out this month with M.2 slots and USB 3.1 (if that is yer thang).
