does
Intel Core i5 6500 (LGA1151 Socket, 3.20 Ghz Turbo Boost to 3.60 Ghz, 6MB Cache) - 6th Generation Skylake for Intel Z170 Chipset DDR4/DDR3L Technology

support

GIGABYTE GA-B150M-D3H LGA 1151 Intel DDR4 B150 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

so no problem if the processor says z170 chipset.
so only the port should be LGA1151 package.
am i right.
is this ram supported for the motherboard
8GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX Fury Black Series 2133 MHz DDR4 CL14 288 Pin-DIMM Memory

thanks for the previous answer

yes only the socket type matters for CPU to Motherboard compatibility. The Z/H/B chipsets are just level of quality/feature sets that go along with the socket type. Z is the best has all the bells and whistles and allows easy overclocking. The others start to chip those features off to save money.

The supported CPUs and RAM are listed on their support page. Please note this is just RAM they personally tested, not a list of the only RAM that will work on the board. http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5541#dl
