How much mhz ram does the fx 9370 support.The given IMC on wikipedia is 2400mhz but on most review websites it is stated as 1866mhz

Check your motherboard manufacturer's website, support varies by board. It should be mentioned that faster RAM is not going to make a big difference for a FX 9370

Do you already have a 9370? If no are you sure you want one, most people recommend staying away from the FX9xxx series.

For your question I believe its dictated by the motherboard but someone will jump in to confirm

Most 'specs' will simply follow minimum design standards - not ultimately which sticks will run at spec speed and volts.

As noted --- you should check your motherboard RAM 'QVL' lists for qualified memory and settings. That will give you a much better idea.
