I know there is a lot of topics about this on internet but i want to ask ont his same another couple things.

First, my old(5+years) EVO 212 Fan, JUST THE FAN, need a change so i was thinking i could search for hours and hours, but no, i am sick and tired of doing the same with every single component i have to replace, so this time i am just gona ask..

Wich fan you think is better to replace EVO 212 fan?
Specs i want:
- 50 bucks, more or less.
- ultra-super-hyper quiet(very important).
- cool looking(pretty lights and all).
- 120mm not 140mm.

Second, right now my fx 6300 is at 4.5GHZ in my current setup, but i want to push it to 5GHZ or more if is possible, so my next question is..

Would a High Perfomance (but not custom) liquid cooler could help me to push it over 5GHZ? and if it can which one?
Now about the third question, i don't care about noise if i am going to go over 5GHZ, so just recommend me the meanest liquid cooler you want.

Important double radiator limit, my current case can't take anything
larger than a double radiator.

Anyway, ill be very grateful to anybody who can help with my dilema.
Thanks and bye.:)

Most AIOs today won't really cool a 5 GHz chip. Maybe a thick 280 rad would but I don't think there is a AIO that can keep a 5 GHz chip cool without it being a custom watercooling loop. For fans, I only use Corsair AF and SF fans so that is the only fans that I can recommend. I can also recommend Cougar DualX fans in both 120 and 140mm flavor. Those aforementioned fans are both pretty quiet and good looking to boot.

While I'm rather confused about what specifically you want, If you want to replace the fan on your 212evo heatsink, I'm not certain if that's possible/ reasonable, especially seeing as it costs ~$20 for a new 212evo. A $50 water cooler isn't going to get you to 5Ghz, if that's even possible. An H100i or a kraken x61 MIGHT be able to.

I want to change the FAN from the current AirCooler for a new one and later, this year, if i can, ill buy a high perfomance WaterCooling system so i can tinker with my CPU a little more.

Thanks for the answer. :bounce:

Cougar DualX
Thats a fancy fan, i like it. :bounce: Hydarulic? really. :/

Nice FAN but loud as hell when it hits the 2000 RPM mark.

Looks intersting, but a little boring no pretty leds or anything else. Just kidding it looks amazing.

Yep it has hydraulic bearing apparently. I actually have 1 in 140mm version green led. They are really silent, especially when you put them on a silence-optimized case. I'm actually thinking back and forth about buying 2 more of them or 2 corsair AF140 for my new build. I might go with the DualX since they are cheaper.

Awwwww

Anyway @OP The Cryorig H7 is a pretty good air cooler for just a little more than the 212 evo. I use one on my 4690k at 4.6 ghz and I don't break 60c while gaming.

Looks nice, but right now i am just interested on the fan, anyway i probablly change it later just incase the watercooling is a big failiure.

Btw, my 6300 don't brake the 60c barrier during rendering rendering(100% on all threads).

Yes i look a them, is Seidon btw, they are ok maybe in the same lvl as corsair.

http://

it may work, but i prefer to have something very over the top just to be able to push it over 5GHZ and keep it cool under heavy load (50 - 80% for gaming, 90% - 100% for rendering).
