Pc starts then the cpu led turn red and shut down(do it a lot of times)

I recently finished building my computer and when it turns on the cpu led wents red and the computer shut down.It do it a lot of time and i had to disconnected the psu.But when i disconnected the 8 pin cable of 12 v from the motherboard it functions(except from the cpu and some fans) of the computer and i cannot see nothing on the monitor.I communicate with asus and it say that i have to clean cmos and do a bench test I do it and nothing pass.I m new building computer, it's my first time.
My components are:
Intel I7 5820k
Asus x99-a
Msi gtx 970 4gb
Corsair h100i
G.skill ripjaws v 16 gb 2400 mhz
Nzxt 410 phantom

Start with BIOS (Make sure your CPU or RAM is not over-clocked), then PSU, and then RAM.

In most of the cases i've found RAM and PSU as main culprit.

1. Try booting with Single RAM stick first.
2. Try booting with different PSU.

Update how it goes.

Hi i solved the problem.it was a screw on the motherboard that is causing short
