Not sure exactly what you are asking. If you can plug the SSD into a SATA 6gb/s port then do that would be ideal. The HDD won't be negatively affected by using it in the SATA 3gb/s port. The SSD will only be slowed by a SATA 3gb/s port when doing large sequential reads and writes but it should still be noticeably faster than the HDD in either situation. Yes it is still worth it to use an SSD in a SATA 3gb/s port.
