a better/cheaper case
If my intended psu is strong enough
input on watercooling(cheap watercooler to use instead of the fan)
or any other tweaks to the build
I'd like to stay around or below the price of the above build which is around $850
other things to note, I have a monitor 1920x1080 - OS - and i live by greenbay, wi

Solution
This motherboard allows for overclocking locked Skylake chips. The whole build is more balanced and will perform better in games. As for the cooler, I recommend the Cryorig H7 or 212 EVO.

Thank you for the quick reply, just a few questions
Is the only difference between the board i chose and yours the ability to overclock skylake chips?
And why choose the r9 390 over the gtx 970 for about the same price? any particular reason or just preference?
Would i be able to get away with a cheaper PSU if i wanted to upgrade that 2400 to 2666?
Also liking the case you chose.

1) Yes.
2) AMD stepped up their game a bit. R9 390 looks like a better card - a bit in raw performance and has double 970's VRAM which will come in handy with rendering and higher res gameplay as well as "future proofing" (it hurts me to say this word)
3) WHy 2666? RAM draws so little power, you shouldn't care.

That case is cheap but still nice. If you want something awesome, S340 is always there at the $65 price tag.

Was thinking the 2666 simply because a friend of mine says it pairs well with the skylake, could be wrong though, ill keep it in mind. I see how the 50 would be unreasonable for that purpose i just have never been too comfortable overclocking. Thanks for you help.
