###Build Help/Ready:

So its been awhile since I put parts together for a computer. This week is when I plan on making the purchase for the parts. I am looking for suggestions/advice in making an overall good build for $1000. I already puts the parts I thought might seem to best go together. What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Secondary computer for gaming / streaming (main rig for the game and secondary to handle the load of the stream in this case)

**If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)**
1080p, 60fps
Mainly running one spec game whose recommend specs are: CPU: Intel Core-i5 2.66GHz or AMD Equivalent RAM: 4 GB Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660 or higher, AMD Radeon HD 7950 or higher
Unfortunately the game seems to favor Nvidia cards over AMD. Otherwise I would pick something like a R9 390

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)? $1000 is the largest I will go.

**In what country are you purchasing your parts?**
United States

**Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).**
I mostly look at amazon when I was looking into parts primarily because I have amazon prime but I am willing to look at places like microcenter and newegg.

**Provide any additional details you wish below.**
Parts I gave already have and will most likely use is a 500GB Harddrive/1TB harddrive 64GB SSD Windows 10 OS 64bit / Monitor.
I was told i5 - 6500 over the i5 -6600. The speed for on i5 6600 is faster especially with turbo boost ( I do not overclock )
With turbo boost its like 3.6ghz vs 3.9ghz. Maybe it isn't that big of a deal when you are coming from a Q6600 2.4ghz.
The PSU is a bit costly but I wanted something with less cable management. I figure with a mid tower case it might be a bit crowded with cables?
I choose gtx970 simply because I did some research with the particular game I play and it favors it more over the AMD r9 390x and the AMD cards have a few issues with the game. ; ; Otherwise I would pick the AMD r9 390x
I feel like I might be overthinking it but I am going back and forth on parts. Like if the motherboard I pick is good enough or should I use 2 sticks of ram instead of 1. etc

Would I need an aftermarket cooler if I am not overclocking?
