hello all,
the second school semester is just starting an i need a new laptop under $500 Canadian for my computer science course and just general work on the go. last year i just used my gaming laptop but after years of intensive use it finally refuses to work anymore (was already on its last legs during last years course). it will just be mainly for running things like Microsoft office, python, and C#, along with occasionally very light games such as terriaria if i get board on the go.
so far i have looked at laptops such as the lenovo ideapad 100s for its low price and decent reviews and the asus E402MA but for whatever reason the asus is very expensive compared to the US price (like 3x as expensive).
11.6 inches is perfectly fine at this price rang however a 14 inch would also be great for my largish hands.
