If you are looking fordward to build a gaming pc, go for the gtx 980 ti , changing processor wont give you a noticable performence boost than installing a new graphics card.Never settle for intel hd graphics , they are very slow for modern gaming.Gtx 980 ti is an extremely good gpu.

TMI there Coltrix.
Probably why this post has been here a bit with no replies.
The whole rundown nitty gritty specs of everything is not needed.
Most people won't bother when they see all that stuff they have to now sort through to find any viable info.
All you need to do is list what basic current specs your running.
True more is great when it's needed or requested. LOL

Basic. CPU and Overclock if any your running in your machine. RAM amount, type.
Your motherboard and current GPU.
Storage devices if you feel the need.
PSU wattage and brand.
Basic short and sweet.
You probably know this?

In any case I took a bit of time and did the simple stuff the hard way for you. It wasn't all that enjoyable I might add. LOL

Colt's Current Specs 2
truncated shortened condensed

FX 8150@4.5Ghz
12GB 3X4GB* (2Xgskill ddr3 1600 dimms, + 1 corsair 1333 dimm)
on ASUS M5A99X Evo Motherboard
WD- Caviar Black 1TB HDD
2X Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD
AMD Radeon HD 7950 or HD 7970 3GB GPU -the 7950 judging from clocks I'd say

* this is not a triple channel machine

1st recommendation is the RAM issue. 2 or 4 Dimms are optimal... the third lower rated corsair stick is not a good thing... especially for getting the most out of an overclock like that. Even though it is contributing 4 more GB that's really not very necessary as I'm sure it's doing something to the overall performance of your setup.
Stick to the 2X4 GB gskills until you can get 2 more ddr3 1600 4GB dimms. Preferably a matching set to the gskills you got.
8GB Should be good for now.
A lot better then 12GB by mixing 3 Sticks of RAM in a dual channel system while overclocking in any case.

Only other thing I might add or change now is adding an SSD for your OS Boot drive. If you have that sorry didn't see it in my swim through the nonsense hash tables and irq addresses.

Your overall system is still pretty good. And with that overclock can still perform decently well.

I would definitely go with the GTX 980 or a 980 ti now that would rock anything out there for a while on your current setup way better then that HD79xx... and when you are ready to drop some more cash everything will just be cheaper still but you will have been using that GTX 980ti happily till then.
I'm sure it will continue showing it's worth when you can get your hands on a complete new setup down the road.
Even if GPU's have gotten a couple gens older by then.

I would take the GTX 980 now in my FX rig myself. way before my own GTX 670 from my older build in a newer snappier intel 1151 build today or even the newest snappiest priciest i7 build money can buy using only the built in intel HD graphics anyday.

I wouldn't wish that on an enemy. LOL

Hopefully your power supply is up to the task. For being so informative your cpu-z generated verbose system report can't tell anyone much about that. Running that overclock with an HD 7900 series card and all the hdd's and extras it should be.

Hope some of this could help
