Recently when I start playing a game, the screen goes black and says "no signal" as it would if the display port was unplugged. It's been happening for a couple months, certainly hasn't happened the whole time I've had the computer, but it seems to be getting worse for some reason. Usually I can tab in and out really fast and it will just fix itself somehow, and when that doesn't work a reboot usually does the trick, but now neither of my quick fixes seem to be working. Yeah I know, I should have fixed this a while ago, but with how much money I've sunk into this computer, and how many times I've had to sink more into it to fix it, I really just didn't want to think about it.

Here's my specs.

CPU - i7 4790k on a custom waterloop
GPUs - 2 980s, one of which is watercooled on a custom waterloop (used to be two, but the other one exploded (literally) and I had to buy a new one, haven't gotten around to watercooling the new one)
Motherboard - Asus z97 pro
Memory - corsair vengeance pro 2x 8gb
Storage - 2 samsung 840 evos in RAID0
PSU - EVGA 1000w supernova p2
OS - Windows 8 pro

I really have no idea what to do, I don't know if this is a memory problem, GPU problem, CPU problem, etc... Although I sincerely hope it isn't, I suspect it's a GPU problem. Any suggestions on what I should do to fix this are helpful, so thanks in advance.

Installed the new game ready driver for the new tomb raider game and the division, seems to have fixed the problem. (for the moment) Don't really know how drivers that optimize performance in the new tomb raider and the division can fix this, but oh well. Maybe when it was installing it something that was somehow messed up with my previous drivers got fixed...? Either way, it seems to be fixed for the time being, thanks anyway for the suggestion, i'll try that if it happens again.
